United Airlines becomes first airline to add together not-binary gender booking options

Booking options are not the only changes United is making when it comes to gender inclusivity. It worked with the Homo Rights Entrada, one of the largest LGBTQ rights organizations in the U.S., and The Trevor Project, which provides crunch intervention and suicide prevention to the LGBTQ customs, to build a new training program. Employees will at present learn near preferred pronouns, persistent gender norms, LGBTQ competency in the workplace and building inclusive spaces for both customers and employees.

The motion comes after industry merchandise groups Airlines for America and the International Air Transport Association recently approved a new international standard for non-binary passengers, effective June one.
